When Bob was hitting 11.76 1/4's running a 340 '71 scamp in 2002 he needed a goal. That goal was a 10.99 timeslip! How did Bob do this? Big Block of Course. He sold the Scamp and bought this 73' Dodge Dart Sport rolling chassis in hopes of his first 10.99 timeslip!

INTERIOR

BODY
Fiberglass hood, trunk lid and front bumper help get the car to a race ready weight of 3,000# with Bob behind the wheel. All windows are marguard lexan and the screws are not at all visible. The lexan looks factory except the door lexan has braces.

SUSPENSION
Front:
Bob decided to stick to the stock front suspension and steering,

Rear:
This Dart has been backhalved with round tube material that flexes well on the track. This made room for a custom 4 link suspension.

PERFORMANCE
The first time out with this car it went 10.64! Now it runs 10.40 at 129 with a 1.45 60 ft. When the fan belt flew off the car at the starting line it went 10.29 at 130.79 with a 1.43 60 ft.!! It is street driven so much the back D.O.T. slicks are shot.
