Tony Nacewicz - '73 Duster

Tony picked up this '73 Duster mostly done. The car was built to mimic a Pro-stock car with the Duster body. He shot it in a perfect 2001 Viper Silver and was ready for racing.

INTERIOR

BODY

The chassis is a 2X3 frame with mild steel cage.
Bumpers, hood and deck lid are glass the rest is steel and all the windows
work. The stock steering column is getting removed and replaced by an
aftermarket one.
The whole interior is tinned and has removable trans panels.

The gas tank filer and deck lid key hole have been filled.

SUSPENSION
Front:
Coilovers with a Pinto Rack.

WHEELS
Goodyear 16x33's in the rear. The front tires are Morosso's

BRAKES
A line-lok is installed. A late model master cylinder is mounted on the floor with Pinto brakes. Wilwood brakes waiting to be installed.

REAREND
The rear end is a Dana 60 with a Mark Williams spool, 4.88 gears and Strange Eng. axles.

TRANSMISSION

  • 727 transmission
  • 4500 converter

ENGINE

The motor is a 12:1 440.

  • 906 heads with port and bowl work.
  • 2.14 intake and 1.81 exhaust valves
  • MSD 6AL
  • Mallory Unilite Distributor
  • .590 solid lifter cam

Plans call for a 250-500hp N2O plate system. Kirkey seats, new oil pan with swing arm set up, wheelie bars, rear pro-stock style wing and a parachute.
