Here is another great example of building the American Hot Rod even when you are in a different part of the world. Nalle crafted a very fine automobile in this Plum Duster and he did so in Sweden. A fine example of when sometimes the right part isn't available you just have to fabricate your own.

INTERIOR

BODY
The body has seen little modification having Fiberglass front fenders. and subframe connectors installed. A fresh coat of Plum Crazy was laid down after a little bodywork.

SUSPENSION
Front:
Stock front suspension and steering with 90-10 shocks.

Rear:
Super Stock Leaf Springs and 70-30 shocks.

WHEELS
Weld Racing 6"-15" wrapped in 6-85-15 in front and 12"-15" wearing 325-50-15 out back.

REAREND
8 3/4 with 3.91 or 4.56

TRANSMISSION

  • 833 crash box
  • Hurst Ram Rod Shifter
  • Centerforce 10 1/2 clutch.

ENGINE The motor is a 440 six-pack.

  • 906 Heads with 2.18 intake and 1.81 exhaust valve
  • Six-pack rods
  • Stock Six-pack crankshaft
  • 10.75:1 TRW pistons
  • Comp Cams Roller Bumpstick
  • Home Fabricated Roller Rockers
  • Milodon Single Line Oil Pump
  • Home Fabricated 2 1/8" Headers
  • Six-pack Intake or Home Fabricated dual 4BBL
  • 3 2bbl Holly or 2 850 4bbl holly.

PERFORMANCE
Nalle did not include any performance information but judging by the way this Dusta' looks we can guess it is well respected anywhere on either side of the pond.
