Is the bell the same as a small block ?
I have an 80 Volare wagon with the incline six and 904 in it , and both are going in favor of the 340 / 727 from my Dart , but I could use a spare 904 if it will bolt up to the S.B.

Nope, the bell is very different. Especially where the starter bolts on.
