I'm wondering what color primer would be best to go with for a racing green paint job? Also what brand of paint and primer should I look at purchasing

i dont think color has much to do with the final outcome. the primer i used was a hi build sandable type that was a lite pinkish color. 2nd and 3rd coats i added some black tint to darken it to help hilight hi-low spots during sanding. last coat before paint was a dark blue sealer. it didnt affect the final color appearance at all

your paint shouldnt be transparent, but i would avoid red under green...... i use light grey epoxy primer on everything, a black guide coat makes it easy to see while sanding......... sweaty, ur cars lookin good.
