Did you check the Year One catalogue? There are a lot of hood decals in there.

Looking through my code books, I found two different factory codes for "performance hood treatments"
V21 for 1969 through 1971 cars, Hood performance treatment
V24 for 1970 and 1971 cars, Hood performance treatment with engine call out (picture below)
I'm not sure about the V21 treatment, as I think that it varied from car to car, but my buddy has an uncle with a 71 Duster with the V24 treatment and he told me that the hood was painted and the 340 "engine call out" was a decal, such as you can buy from Year One and other Mopar vendors. Unless your going for a "factory original look", I'd paint the hood, rather than using decals, because the paint will look nicer a lot longer than decals will. Same thing with the Bumble Bee tail stripes.
