I removed the power brake booster from my car. I just had to buy a manual brake pushrod, and don't forget the little rubber ring that keeps the pushrod seated in the MC. Everything bolted right up to the firewall and the pedal without any problems.

Why not get your original unit rebuilt? I had mine done at a HD truck specialist. Of course that was years ago....but it is at least worth looking into.

I used a regular booster in mine, but moved it up and out a couple of inches.

Ron, your mailbox is full so I couldn't send you a message. All of the factory parts are designed to work with either power or manual brakes, so everything bolts right up. The pedal sits higher due to the longer stroke required with manual brakes. I am happy with mine, but I still have drums on the front.

No booster on mine. I also have an adjustable valve on the rears to fine tune it. The stopping power is good.

ok im lost. I bought a manuel M/C for a 67 dodge dart and it will not bolt up to the bracket in the car. Is there something that i am missing? Also can i use the M/C push rod from any dodge car or truck that has manuel brakes?

If you are talking about the bracket the booster was attached to, it has to be removed. The master bolts directly to the studs on the firewall. I'm not sure if all pushrods are the same.

All I did is take out booster and got a new adjustable pushrod from mopar performance, worked slick. And i have disks up front also. I dodn't notice any diffrence, then again my booster had a leak in it ofr who knows how long ![\/][](http://www.bigblockdart.com/Smileys/classic/finger020.gif) so it feels the same to me.
