tires & rims question
« on: January 18, 2006, 01:41:34 PM »

Hi,
I'm finally going to buy some tires & Crager mags for my 1964 Dart. I like the BF Goodrich P205/55R15 for the fronts. I'm not sure about the back spacing. Crager offers a 4 1/8 backspacing or a 2 1/4" backspacing. Which ones are the right choice for the fronts with disc brakes?
    Thanks For Your Help

The 4 1/8 backspacing is very close to stock Chrysler 15x7 police wheels.

If your're figuring on buying the Cragar SS with the small bolt pattern (4") good luck. There are a few 14 x 6's out there but that's it, new in the box anyway. I've been trying to get 1, 15 x 7" with the 5 x 4" BS for over a month and no way. Cragar stopped making the 5 X 4" in both 14" and 15".
