Can the trim be cleaned of chrome  and then powder coated? Im thinking of getting the trim and bumpers powder coated a darker blue than the body if it can be done. Im also thinking I want to shave the door handles and trunk lock and put in door poppers. Not sure if I want to put in a remote lock for the trunk or the button in the glove box. Undecided

Sure the bumpers and other chrome plated steel can be de-chromed. Check with the local powder coaters in your area.
