Couple questions on products from JCWhitney
« on: January 19, 2006, 04:58:59 PM »

I've been looking at their stuff and it looks pretty good to me. Coule be just me since I'm going for a budget built Dart but I was wondering what you guys thought of their interior parts like the carpets:

Seems like an ok product you can't really mess up a black carpet anyways.

I've always purchased my carpet from Auto Custom Carpet, Inc with very good results myself. I don't know anyone who's purchased from JC Whitney...I wonder if the "add a peice here...add a peice there" design would look right  Huh

I've got some quarter panels from Whitney for my Swinger- I wasn't too impressed with them, other than the price. I guess you get what you pay for though. They're bead rolled instead of stamped so the body line above the wheel opening isn't right so you have to spend some time making it right, I have one on and I'll start the other one as soon as I finish remodeling my house(yeah right!) hammer

Before the internet became common, Whitney was the way to go for cheap parts. Now you don't really have to look too hard to find the same stuff cheaper at other sites.
