Starting front end of Dart. Help me out please.

First off the tech pages are very informative. Thanks. I have a bonehead question. Working on my Olds today weakened my brain.

Is the '73 to '76 V-8 drag link different from the /6? The tech pages call out the ball joints, idler and pitman to be body and year specific i.e. '73 to '76 A body, not engine specific. I am ready to order my from suspension and disk brake pieces. I noticed the pic of the one in the tech pages doesn't have the drop like the '72 and earlier. I can see me having to cut my Milodon 7 qt pan.
