Wow! That's a beautiful car, I'm glad I finally get to see it. I'm anxiously awaiting the header and installation pictures.

Oh, I've read that one quite a few times. I'm just anxious to see another car with the headers installed. I'm planning to post some pictures when I get mine in the car.  duster

I talked to him a couple weeks later Probably around March 1st, I tried calling again yesterday afternoon for an update but didn't get an answer. I am hoping they will be coming soon. Yes he takes the order COD...................no risk

I ordered mine COD, and because of that, they're still in transit somewhere, as they have been for the last couple of weeks.

I didn't want to use the COD method becuase I knew it would be a pain in the ass, and I was correct. UPS tried to deliver the headers three times in a row, all while I was working all day. On the third day, UPS automatically sent them back to Arkansas. I called UPS and they told me I was S.O.L. becuase of their policy regarding CODs.

Now Harold is sending them back FedEx, and I'm still waiting.

I told him he should sign up for a Paypal account, as it's free and he will gain interest @ 5.05%. CODs are old-fashioned and archaic, just tell him NO on the COD, and ask about Paypal, or sending him a money order first.

Did he agree on the paypal ? I am worried how I am going to handle the cod also.

I tried again and haven't been able to catch him..............figured I would try today.

He told me that he didn't deal with PayPal, so I emailed him all the information. Good luck - just refuse to use COD.

Yeah, I end up having stuff shipped to my work anymore, since I'm never at home during the day.

I got a Fed Ex tracking number today !!!!!  Monday........ just like he said he would do.........No COD........said I sounded like an honest guy and to send the money order when the headers arrive. I have to say I was very up front with Harold and stated my concerns. I also told him I could wait and my project was not on a time line and to just let me know if there were updates as to the progress on them. I think we have talked maybe 3 times since I confirmed my order on Feb 12th. I checked Fed Ex and it is a valid number to my address. I heard about some of his issues and we even discussed them a couple times. He said he is working hard on his reputation. So far. it has been an excellent experience and he has a product I want/ need. They are due to arrive wed so I will post when they show ............. 4 speed

I am glad for all us Narrow A's that this guy turned around. I have not been here in a while, but remembered that this guy was a major PITA to deal with. 6 mo. delivery times. no product, run around, dissapeared, etc. Then I heard that he sold the pattern to Laysons and he could not build them anymore due to selling the rights. Good job! Now if he will only make them with a B flange.....

I got mine about 3 or 4 weeks ago. They look great, but just took a long time to receive. I'll post pictures when I have a chance.

If you are going to order the Spitfires, make sure you tell him if its for an early A or not.  The tube fitment on the drivers side of the Early A is a tighter bend, than the later A drivers side.  The passenger sides are the same.   This came right from Harold this week.
