Mopar Christmas poem
« on: December 02, 2006, 05:56:59 PM »

I think I put this up last year,I hope it ain't getting old, hope Ya'll enjoy it

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the garage,
Not an engine was running, not even My Dodge.
With slicks hung by the chimney, placed there with care,
In the hope that St. Nick would fill them with air.
My Dart and My Demon tucked in their beds,
Each looking great with new sets of heads.

Then all of a sudden what could be the matter,
I heard one of My Hemi’s lifters a clatter.
It came down the road and turned to the right,
A big block Camaro had passed in the night.

Disturbing the Hemi is not a good thing,
The gear drive was revving and started to sing,
With nitrous a purging and lights coming on,
Right down the driveway and then she was gone.

Out in the night and after Her prey,
I knew that soon she’d make “someone’s day”
Off in the distance I hear tires a chirpin’
The Chevy a coughin’ and the Hemi a burpin’

Then right up the driveway and in through the door,
She spit out a Bow Tie right on the floor
I could barely hear the radio, over the roar,
A sound I had heard one Christmas before,

"My cam is degreed, My clearances tight
Have a Merry, Merry, Chrysler,
And to all a good night"
