I'm wondering if a '68 300 has the standard 5 x 4 1/2" or the big 5 x 5" bolt circle. My '67 Imperial had the big bolt, and everything else I've ever owned is the standard 4 1/2". Mike

A-bodies since 1978, this one since 1983

Only Imperials had the huge passenger car pattern.

That's what I thought, and this guy tells me it's the 'big bolt' pattern. I said '5 x 5', and he said yes. I've got one of each in my trunk, and I'm going today to check it out. Thanks, mike.

That's what I thought, and this guy tells me it's the 'big bolt' pattern. ********************************************************************** He might be reffering to the different bolt patterns on early and late A-body cars. Early A's, up to about '73, all had a 5-on-4" pattern, unless it had disc brakes. From '73, most A's had 5-on-4.5" pattern, unless it was a drum brake, slant car. Roger

I'm thinking the same thing. I doubt this guy even knows about 5x4" bolt circle. He's not really a Mopar guy, and probably heard someone else throw the term around. I just want to get this off of him before it snows. Thanks everyone, Mike
