I get up this morning and check my email, and this is what I see.  Pretty sad IMO that some Hollywood slut's dresses are more important then our veterans.  I don't want this to degenerate into a political debate, I just think it's disrespectful to those that have given so much for us. |

That's fudged up. Especially since it was Janet Jackson and Lindsay Lohan. Who cares about them? But then again, who cares about MSN? I was watching the History channel today and they've been playing all kinds of good shows about Pearl Harbor. May want to check it out. It looks like they'll be playing strictly Pearl Harbor-related stuff until 7:00pm tonight. Interesting stuff.

I totally agree,makes me sick.Along with that we are losing more and more of are benefits everyday.I,m no war time vet and i thank god for that,but what is happening is wrong.

I was stuck in jury duty in a room for 4 hrs. staring at a tv watching cnn.I got to see the Pearl Harbor broadcast.Then the president cut in and i took a nap.

I totally agree. I come from a family of veterans and let me tell you, they are tough old coots. My father, grandfather and two uncles. All of them tough as nails. My father is the last one left. He served in Korea. He was on the front line and saw a lot of fighting.
My Grandfather was to old to be drafted during WWII so he volunteered anyway and came back with some Nazi memorabilia from battle.
One Uncle of mine survived the Bataan Death March. If you don't know what it is then look it up. It is seriously unbelievable.
My other uncle served in the Pacific during WWII and got medals for service.
So yeah, I think the vets are more important.
