from the techpages
in the pics it look like the top flange of the frame rail is removed also. if so does it weaken the frame

  Trim the lip and weld the rail side to the floorsheet metal...

thats what i thought. hard to tell from the pics. i wouldnt be moving it but about an inch and a half without triming it back
