Thanks buddy.  It looks like you did a real good job.  I'm mainly looking for ideas before I do mine.  Just curious, is there a reason why you put the pump and filter in the trunk and not on the frame rail?  I'm trying to decide which way to do mine.  Thanks

I have a question where is your main fuel line going to the carb leaving the fuel pump or from fuel pump to fuel filter to Carburetor?

It looks like you have it routed in one big loop on the gas tank. Is it like that just for test purposes or HuhHuhHuh

I wanted to keep everything from being exposed to the outside of the car as much as possible. I think its also a lot cleaner since the pump/filter are hidden in the trunk. I have the supply line to the regulator/carb hooked up now. I'll take a couple pics and put them up on the board here.

Hey Guys........I finally started working on the Duster again. But of course curiosity made me go and chage the plans again. I decided to go with fenderwells so I had to cut out my bars because they interferred. So now I gotta make up a couple of new bars and patch the old bars holes and I have to modify a couple of the tubes on the fenderwells to get the wheels to turn better. I just about finished the fuel system to the motor and I should have some pics of that soon. Heres a few picks for you guys to check out. BE WELL!

Lookin good!  Did those bars go in to the A-pillar bars?  What headers were you going to go with before and what made you change your mind?

Yes the bars did go into the A-Pillar bars before. There going back the same way but about 4 inches higher. I had the 2" Mad-Doggs on before but they won't work with my Brodix heads because of the raised port. The spark plug recesses were in the wrong spot on the headers so I decided not to cut them up and to go with a pair of 2" fenderwells and get the most out of what I got. Thanks.......71

Here's a before and after of my radiator support. I got tired of the ugliness of the hacked-up factory sheetmetal, so I decided to make my own out of square tube. All I have left is to cap the end of the frame-rails, weld in a couple of mounting tabs on the rad support for the overflow bottle and the coil. Then I have to put the front clip on to make the tabs for it to bolt to the rad support and hope nothing interferes. One day hopefully this pile of junk will be done!

I love it!  I've been thinking about doing the same thing.  One question though- How are you going to locate the front fender mount?

MOPOWERS
Whats up buddy.........I have them marked on the tubing. You can't really tell by the picture, but I made a cut that tilts the tubing downward to give me the right location of the fender tab. Then I welded the slit I made.  I built most of this wilth the old rad support still attached as a guide. Stay tuned....I may have some more pics of the fenders mounted.

Man, you really got the wheels turning in my head.  What about mounting the headlights?  Is it removable?

The headlights still remain attached to the fenders and the rad support is welded to the frame....71

One last question.  What fuel pump and fuel line size are you are using?  I may have already asked you.  I have a short memory.   hammer

Looks great!  One question - your fuel pump flows how much?  That filter only flows 90 gph, and I'm guessing that's less than your pump.  Just a thought.

Keep up the good work!
