oh and just for reference for anyone looking for the same piece i just found one made by CSR through summit for 30$ cheaper{at 53$} then the one jegs sells for 83$..{smae application}....

Looks great! One question - your fuel pump flows how much? That filter only flows 90 gph, and I'm guessing that's less than your pump. Just a thought.
Keep up the good work! 250 Mallory w\a 8 AN line.....................the secondary Russel -8 filter flows just as sufficient as the line. Right, but the Fram canister filter that you have plumbed into that line only flows 90 gph, so it's a definite restriction in your system. Just trying to help.

i really wonder about those fram filters, why they are rated so much lower than other brands. i have a mallory here, inside lookes jut like the fram, i really cant see how it can flow any more than the fram. as many frams filters as ive seen hanging off the back of race cars i have to think they are under rated.
