Strut rod bushings
« on: January 23, 2006, 09:01:06 PM »

Doing a disk brake conversion on 71 Demon.  I got strut rod bushings and they are a one piece bushing, I have seen some that are a two peice unit with a steel sleeve.  In the service manual looks like the A bodies used the one piece.  Can someone give me some info on this?   Thanks Steve

yes i can use the one-piece it made for a bodies . the 2 piece one is for b-bodys . i tried the 2-piece and found way too much play in it.was about 1/4 all around and would'nt fit my hd strut rods. the arrow end doesn't matter which way it goes, i faced mine out only because i'll had my k-frame out. duster
