The straightforward fact is that the guy that owns this, built a car he likes. Lots of builders here do that and there is no harm in that in and of itself. The downfall comes, as this poor fellow is about to find out when he goes to sell, is that if you build off the beaten path - you will get beat.
I've never actually seen a rectangular tube roll bar before though - that is a first for me.

Well besides the ugly fender flares and wing, I've seen a lot worse.  Probably wouldn't be too bad to put back into decent shape.   Good example of a car that the owner spent a lot of time/money to build and will absolutely never get back.  Must be a big fan of the Mad Max Interceptor?
