« on: January 02, 2007, 11:07:44 AM »

Who is the old wwf wrestler that used to blurt out "woooo" in  every interview? I remember this guy would say a few words "woooo" and then let fly with a "woooo" right in the middle "woooo" of a sentence LOL

" I got the Rolex watch. I got the Gucci shoes. I'm a high flyin', limo ridin' wheelin' dealin' son of a gun... Whooo."

You mean Rick Flair. No one can apply the figure four leg lock more effectively. It was real also. A real punisher.  Grin

If you mention Andre the Giant you can't leave out Big John Stud,King Kong Bundy,The Iron Shiek,They were always battling it out.My father does wedding phtography and vid on the side.He did a wedding for Corporal Punishment. He got to meet alot of WWF wrestlers including the one and only Iron Shiek.I actually have a picture of him signed that my dad brought home for me.I got a real charge out of that.I also got a picture of him with Muhammed Ali.Just goes to show you how long he's been around.I didn't think the Shiek was still around.

We used to watch the Atlanta wresting up here as a kid. Tommy Wildfire Rich.  Grin Gordon Solie was the Man.

Yes I think the Shiek is dead: "You American pigs! spit.

I liked to watch Sargeant Slaughter. Then he comes out of the closet a few years ago and says he is into men. Didn't see that one coming.

Rick Flair was one of my all time favorites along with the Ultimate Warrior. That guy was on some serious cocaine. Rowdy Roddy Piper too. Cowboy Bob Orton, Mr Wonderful, Rick Martel, Barry Windham.
Don't forget the great battles between the Von Erichs and the Freebirds.

I have a picture of me with King Kong Bundy and Afa the Samoan. I also have Killer Kowalski's autograph.

I can't watch wrestling now. To much BS.

I was having lunch at this Chinese restaraunt around the end of November. I was alone, on my way home from work. So I sit down in this booth, and these 2 guys are sitting one table over from me. And they are talking about doing this speaking engagement and  book signing, and he had a Poster there. He said he like it because it left him room to autograph it on the one side.  Also was mentioning how he had  found God. How it saved his life. Saved him from the drugs and the women. He was  older fellow I would say late 60's . Looked like a old biker , very beat up face, lots of scars , very raspy voice too . He just looked tuff! He starts throwing names around like Jay Strongbow, Haystack etc.  Finally he says his name " Dewey Robertson " I don't know if he was popular in the States , but he was a BIG name around here for years. I used to watch him on Saturdays . It turns out he went to the states and wrestled under the name "the Missing Link"  for years. I was in awe. I wished I had got his autograph now, but was too chicken to do so at the time.

The Missing Link, that's awesone. He was crazy. He would grab the hair on the back of his head and make believe he was smashing his own head against his opponents.
