came out good. i love those stripper wheels  in a 4 1/2" grinder, what do you use them in a right angle die grinder?............ it would be cool to chop the bulge off and weld it on a flat dart hood.
i use them in a die grinder.........and nobody is choopin off my bulge  bat

Did you use a wire wheel to strip the top? It looks like it with the trail marks. I use that method frequently...dont have the patience for 80 grit and a DA.
paint stripper first then one of these 3m wheels. i use em all the time. they kick ass but they dont screw up the metal.

Do you have a part number on those?

they last pretty long, and when they get small, you can use em in the tighter areas.......they run about 8 bucks a piece, just get a handfull. ive seen 10 packs, no need for 50. they can be bought individually already mounted to an arbour.

I had a 68 coronet 440 that I unwillingly HAD to junk  that had a beautiful power bulge hood, and the body on the car was really nice also.  Made me sick to scrap it, but I had very little choice, no one would buy it.

I am building a 68 cuda from a shell.  Might make a Formula S or hemi look-a-like.    383 powered, 727 or 4spd , and 4.30 geared 8-3/4. Front disk conversion done with volare parts and home modified upper control arms.  Rear disks next using parts of 96 Grand Cherokee 4x4.
