Rollcage install
« on: January 07, 2007, 09:00:38 AM »

I have seen many cars getting rollcages while on the floor with no front-end,quarter panels or interior. That does simplify things. However have any of you installed one in your roller with the dash intact along with everything else? I'd like to get a kit from ART and i could use a few pointers. The point on my hat rack does not count.

put mine in while most of the interior was still in.  You'll want to leave things like  window cranks and arms rests on so you can be sure they'll clear your door bars.  Only thing you really need to take out is the carpet, personally i'd leave in anything to comes close to the cage so you can get a better fit.

Also, protect everything, including glass, from welding/grinding embers.  These will melt and destroy glass, don't ask how I know!
