The 64 is a Signet 200. It being finished in matte black (Kirker Hot Rod Black). The fender, door, hood and trunk trim are removed and holes filled. The only chrome / trim bits left are: Rear qtr. spears, rear qtr. top strips, doortop trim, rear qtr. window wedge, C pillar "valiant" badge, front grille / headligts.
The bumpers need to be painted...but if I go black, I'll have to ditch the qtr. spears, as they'll look goofy. The front grill and light rings might also look wierd, with a black front bumper. What do you "stylin' guys think? how should I finish it off to look the best.
BTW: wheels are ralleys...but may get changed to 15-7s black steelies.

Cant wait to see yours done. I have a 64 Valiant signet 200 that will be painted the samesatin black, leaving the white vinal top on it though and getting rid of the door locks but leaving the handels as door popper get old after awhile. leaving all the chrome except the side moulding . That will all come after I get finished dropping a 451 into it and 8 3/4 still have to do the spring relocation and move the wheel wells to the frame and sub frame connectors, then the body work starts. Please post some pictues of yours when your done it will be cool.

I agree with FASTTCARS, the grille needs to be left alone, You dont want your car to lose its character. Remember the 80's when the trend was to paint everything on the car the same color ![\/][](http://www.bigblockdart.com/Smileys/classic/finger020.gif) I would lose just enuff to clean it up, dont get carried away or it will look like an Easter Egg!!
