It's only available used. Check e-bay, Moparts, and other sites.

That's what i thought..i guess its too much to hope for that they have been repoped. However, I see that Layson's claims to have them for the 68 cudas and says they are coming for the 67..this is the trunk lid trim that lines up with the tailight bezel trim. Has anybody tried them?

Supposedly there was a run of them by somebody, but no longer available. I have several bent and twisted pieces. I' going to be sending a bunch bad pieces to a guy from the Barracuda Owner's Group who restores trim. Layson is my last choice for things due to their reputation.

Jim do you know anyone that restores the headlight surrounds and grill pieces for '67 Cuda?  I checked out King of Trim, but they are real expensive and I noticed in Laysons catalog they do them.  But I have read a few post about the quality of Laysons work and that they are just outsource to someone else!!

This is who I am sending the parts to. Everybody on the BOG (Barracuda Owners Group) that has used him praises his work.

Thanks for the info and heads up on Laysons. There is a guy here in MI that does that same kind of work that you mentioned having done. He did Dave Dudecks challenger so i will try him. They refurbish the trim even with bends and dents...comes back looking like new...(i will find out..lol)

You can see here the piece I need..the lower trunk lid moulding.

I met the guy that does laysons at the nats.. Nice guy and he will do it direct for 1/2 the price laysons charges you..( still around 600 bucks for the headlight surrounds as I recall )  I'll dig out his. As to the trunk trim.. WOW expensive part I cant bring myself to by laysons 600 trunk trim for my 68.. Even though I do need them.
