what wheel size tire combo do you have, looks good? im asking around trying to figure out what is the best tire/wheel combo to fit under my 64 without rubbing or mini tubbing. also i love your ride height. howd you get your car to sit so low like that? is it just from the weight of the 440 up front or did you lover your rearend, i like the look?

Hello from Germany,
excuse me, but I donīt received your e-mails. I have in front 7x15 with 195-60-15 and in back 8,5 x 15 with 235-60-15 (But 255-60-15 fits also). No mini tube. The rear axle is a 8 3/4 E-Body axle and I shortend it, so that the 8,5 inch rims fits. I lowered the rear axle 2" and have E-Body springs with special offset shackles and offset front hanger bracket.Torsion bars are 1.160"diameter. The weight with the big block is 1.450kg.

nice, thanks 66dart500. cool from Germany huh, ever take your dart on the autoboughn? are you getting good traction with those size wheels and tires? do the 2" lower blocks effect your cars performance?

Yes I was several times on the autobahn with the dart......... The high speed performance is not bad, because of the good suspension. Lowering the car is not the key of high speed performance, but it helps a litlle bit.
Traction is not bad, but for the quarter mile I use 255 slicks.... 4 speed
