Brake Bolt Pattern Dana 60 = 8.75?
« on: January 20, 2007, 03:08:04 PM »

Does the Dana 60 have the same bolt pattern for the brakes as the 8.75 rear end?

I have a chance to pick up a Dana 60 off a late model Dodge Ram.  Will the brakes from my 8.75 just bolt on, or is the bolt pattern different?

I know the truck is a 6 lug and not a 5 lug, but I can fix this.

TIA

i know a late 60s early 70s dana 60 and 8 3/4 have the same brake bolt pattern, they will bolt right up, but i bet you they have changed the ends on the danas by now, could you get us a picture and a measurement maybe?

i'm thinking that if it's a late model truck it's going to be a mopar 9 1/4" and not a dana 60 Huh
