My buddy bought a 99 dodge ram(i do believe 150) 5.9.The steering box is leaking where the shaft comes out(of course). My assumption would be that you could actually by a seal kit to install. Is there a kit available? Is it a big pain in the butt to install? My buddy still has somewhat of a warranty on it and i'm pretty sure it's one of those "you pay the labor deals".That's even if the warranty covers this.I have a feeling that it won't or they will try to re-coop the parts cost in the labor and screw his eyes out. Thanks for the input.

There is a input seal kit, and a pitman arm shaft seal kit available from Dodge. I replaced a few of them in the older Dodge trucks. Actually have one on the shelf here for the input shaft, for 1979 to1993 . I don't know the part # for the newer trucks. The kits usually come with 2 seals, special grease that goes between the seals, and a snap ring.
