rocky mountain dash painted
« on: January 28, 2007, 10:10:03 PM »

i just picked up my rocky mountain dash from my paint guy tonight and am very happy with it, it has just one small run that he will fix in a week or so when it drys more, here are the pictures, i hope they work

i love the flake and pearl in it, its dupont bm612k, but boy, he said this thing was really hard to paint, he just painted it 24 hours ago so i cant put the gauges in it yet but boy do i want to, its just a tad bit darker in person- funny thing, when i walked into my house, under the mercury light it look like a deep purple, awesome

i was thinking of going with white face, but now a days everyone does, plus my color scheme is blue and black so i decided to go with the black on black z series gauges, yes its the a12, i got it before the prices went up, i saw it in the sun when i got home from school today and wow  Cool Grin, the pictures don't do it justice at all, i also received my dash pad today, and i have my dash mostly apart so i should have it back together in a week or so, once the paint drys more throughly, and thanks for the compliments guys

Thats killer! I love those dashes, coincidently I had a Jeep in high school that I had done that same color! It turned purple under certain lights..
