has anyone ever seen an abody with an airgrabber hood assembly like the ones from a 70 RR. or have any pics of a CAR WITH ONE

I havent seen one but the idea has crossed my mind quite a few times. Why not have a full size hemi scoop go flat then when you get into it have about 4 inches of scoop rise up. Only problem with it is that I believe that they were vaccuum opperated, not sure but I think so.

thatd be cool too but you have to think that hemi scoop is huge to have folding down like that

I had an Air Grabber hood on a 70 Sport Satellite a while back. It worked like crap with a big cam. I've seen new ones for pickups with electric actuators. They seem to work really well. I don't remember who makes them, but I'm sure the parts could be applied to any design anyone conjures up.
