underhood wiring
« on: February 02, 2007, 02:52:45 PM »

I need to know where the headlight/front light wiring "harness"  runs exactly  under the hood.  Looking at it from the front of the car of course.

Right now i have the harness running from the bulkhead down the drivers side inner fender,  and up to the front.  The passenger wiring running across the Radiator area.  Is this right ?

That sounds right to me, but at this moment my car doesnt have a single wire in it, so I'm going from memory.

That's how my '64 is configured. I'll get you a picture if you need it, but you can see the holes in your fender where the nylon/plastic clips hold the loom down.

your car should or had tabs that hold the harness along the rad supp.the factory put the harness on the middle of the inner fender,it looks alot better if you move it to the edge.

Some parts are wired differently depending on the year, but the forward lights should all run along the driver inner fenderwell and through a hole in the rad support.
