Just put in my narrowed C body 8 3/4 rear, was able to fit the 265/50/15's on 15x8.5's in the stock well with using offset perches and hangers. The e brake cable won't fit but other than that it seems to fit pretty well.

bb66cuda, Nice job. I'm getting ready to replace the 7 1/4 in my '64 and will probably do something similiar. What dimensions did you go with? You using 2" or 2 1/2" brakes?
