Maybe someone from PA can pay him a visit? Maybe AbodyJoe can roll up in his little Toyota? I've had good luck so far on this site, but there's always that minority of jerks in every circle.

I was hoping he was also, I have tried everything to reach him. I sent him my home number and have tried to reach him via email, via B.B.D. and via Ebay. I found it hard to believe that someone would screw someone over 58 bucks on kick panels and an ashtray and risk getting his name through the mud over it Let me clarify I know people will screw you over for pennies in your pocket, but this seemed like a fairly tight community a place where your word and a handshake still meant something.

I sold a Demon Carb. from E-bay, buyer had 3 choices of shipping he picked USPS Pacel Post. I live in Michigan carb went to Califonia, it took 19 working days for him to get the carb. The Buyer was getting MAD at me, cause it was taking so long.
Post Office considers Pacel Post Mail a low priority.
I'm not taking sides here Keith, just passing info on that happen to me.
Hang in there maybe its on its way yet. GOOD LUCK Keith..

Keith I did not rip you off. They were shipped out the 19th just like I said they were USPS parcel post. I am sure they will show up, please give it a little more time and if they dont show, I'll refund you. I just want to make it clear that I am no rip-off artist. Thanks,

Not taking sides here either but I have had two recent experiences with the USPS suggesting that this could be one of those situations where it's not the seller's fault (though poor communications is always frustrating and inexcusable).
I purchased a small item that was sent in a padded envelope first class. A couple of weeks after I should have received it, the PO sent me the remains of the shipping envelope and a claim form. I'm out $35. Another order, from a mail order company - shipped parcel post never arrived. They're taking responsibility and are supposed to issue a refund.
Perhaps your seller needs to take it up with the PO.

I actually had two different packages left on my porch on two different Sundays a few months apart. I am still confused on who put it there, at first I thought maybe the mailman had gotten lazy or overlooked it and brought it by on Sunday. Then I thought maybe got delivered to a neighbor on Saturday and they dropped it off on Sunday. The last time it happened was 2 months ago and it was a cluster with gauges so it was a medium size box to say the least, I left to go grocery shopping and when I came back there was a box on my front porch.

Just from what I have had to deal with at work, never ship USPS. UPS and Fed Ex are just fine even though they are a tiny bit more expensive, but you get tracking numbers and receipts and everything under the sun with great customer service and no one ends up playing finger-pointing games.

I ordered a pair of tires from Summitt once, and UPS managed to separate them and send them to two different places.

I bought a video game off ebay last month. After 2 weeks I emailed the seller and he gave me a tracking number. UPS website showed it to have been missent (?) and should arrive shortly. Got it about a week later. I left possitive feed back for the seller. The key to me not being mad was a tracking number and a quick response from the seller.

i have never once had a tracking number from usps that actually showed up when tracked! UPS is dead on 99.999% of the time and fedex isn't as good due to our rural area and not a lot of deliveries but always have had good luck with them

Same thing here. The USPS delivered them to my neighbor. He had them about 2 weeks before remembering to bring them by. Meanwhile I was going apesh** on the person I bought the stuff from. Very frustrating

The package did arrive today Though it looks as if it was shipped out on the 9th of February not the 19th of January. If you notice the 9th was the day I originally posted the problem I was having with getting my goods. By all means I am not calling anyone a liar, maybe got lost and ended back in Rome, PA and just happened to get a new postage stuck on it the 9th cause the old postage fell off along the way I attached a pic of just the postage..I can put on up of the entire package if you would like.

if its any conselation Australia post is just as hopless and inconsistent, somtimes I can get a parcell from perth to brisbane faster than I can get one across brisbane, now... Perth is as far away as LA is to New York,

Its kind of a catch-22...I used to ship primarily via UPS, but had 2 shipments get "lost" enroute and they are considerably more expensive. So I started sending packages via USPS Parcel post and this has turned out to be slow, but inexpensive. I think if you are going to send packages by Postal service, the best thing to do is notify the buyer of this prior and they should expect it to be a little slow.

I bought a CD off of ebay last Saturday, and it showed up in the mail 2 days later! It was sent in a padded envelope from NY to KC through the USPS. Never would have believed it until I saw it.

Not wanting to bud in here but even if the date shipped was Feb 9 (unlikely since that would only be 3 or 4 days and USPS doesnt seem that quick) the fact is the package arrived...so you werent ripped off which is all for the good. Maybe the title of this post could be changed. I started reading it so I would know who not to buy from. But I dont think thats what the post is really telling me since the package arrived. Just my opinion...dont shoot me anybody.

A few things I was original told it was 13 bucks shipping it ended up costing $8.50 but with tape, package and time to run take to shipping center no biggie, though I didn't ask how it was going to be shipped. After attempting to contact the buyer many times though many different ways I finally posted here what happened. Remember I bought and sent money order on Jan. 8th! On this post, a private message and an email I got I was told it was shipped USPS parcel post and it will show up just give it time. It finally does show up today and I am thrilled it did. But as far as when it was sent is questionable the package is wrapped with priority mail tape and has a postage from Feb.9th 2007. So 1) either it was shipped on Jan 19th and got lost and who knows where it went and it ended back up at the Rome, PA post office and they were kind enough to send it priority mail back to me and print out a new postage label on Feb 9th or 2) It was taken to the post office on Jan 19th and sent priority mail but just got mixed up when relaying information to me AND the post office computers date were off and printing out the labels for Feb.9th instead of Jan 19th or 3) It was taken to the post office on Friday February 9th and sent priority mail... Rome, PA and St. Louis, MO aren't far apart so 3 to 4 days is well within reason. Something smells fishy but hell who knows Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley were married at one time.
