Bucket Seats Recomendations
« on: February 14, 2007, 11:45:44 AM »

Hi Everyone,
I'm thinking about replacing the bench seats in my 1964 Dart with some nice aftermarket bucket seats. Can anybody recomond any nice bucket seats they bought for there cars & who they bought them from.
    Thank You Again

Try some late-model factory buckets, I always liked the Dakota R/T buckets.

[]{}i always use factory seats. most aftermarket seats are junk, unless you want to shell out big bucks for set of recaros. lots of newer cars come with sporty seats. suburu sti, acura rsx, hell, get a set of leather seats from a 300 srt, their nice! get the seats, make a STURDY set of mounting brackets, and weld them to the floor. i did it a couple of times. it's not hard, just a little time consuming.

one of the key aspects to changing over seats is width measurements, especially if youre ride has a console you want to keep.  other than that, almost anything can be made to work

i would be really cool to put a set of seats from an srt in them, take a look in any new srt and the seats are awsome-

i bought a pair of brand-x brand seats off ebay for $100 and they work great, no problems, memory foam and very comfortable, alot cheaper than sparcos-

just make sure you get some with the lever recliner like i got, apc seats with the nob, you have to turn about 8 time to get them to lay all the way down from what i hear
