You might want to look back through some recent questions on that.  I asked that a week or so back and there is some good input on that subject.  Steve

also this is a list i put together a while ago for the tech pages here. If you havent been on the tech pages---some really good info you should read. The p-part # bars are mopar performance numbers, the regular non p-part#'s are O.E. numbers that are stamped into the ends of stock bars. http://www.bigblockdart.com/techpages/torsion.shtml

For a street car I would use .920 or .990 bars with a stock small block sway bar. You can also use an aftermarket sway bar. Stiffen the back end while your at it.

Thanks for all the feed back and will investigate further. I have already installed frame connectors and will install torque boxes. It doesn't have a sway bar but you think that is the way to go? I have the disc brake set up in the small bolt pattern for the front. 8 3/4 SG for the back. Would like to have a cage made for it but want it to be very clean in appearance. Looking for some thing to stiffin it up so it will hook up. All the power in the world aint' no good unless you can hook it to the ground. Any ideas?? I really appriciate you guru's coming to the table with your ideas.

A sway bar is really almost a must for a street driven car. If it's just a strip car you don't want one.
