Use a pre 73 dart or duster front bumper on my 74 dart sport?

My dart has the pointed bumper with the big bumper-ettes.....can I run a straight bumper from an earlier A body?  Thinking of fiberglass as an option here too.

as far as i know, you would have to change the fenders and hood and grill too (the hood and grill are pointed too)

No.  I am not thinking of changing the grill or hood or fenders...the pointed centre area doesnt seem to carry below the grill and ends just above the bumper...the car should be all flat at bumper level so fitting a straight across bumper should only be a matter of if holes in the bumper (do the fiberglass bumpers come predrilled?) will line up or if changing brackets / locations to match the new bumper holes is a possibility.  Likey I would go glass if its a fit.

maybe somebody else will chime in, but i know that the bumpers on my 70 and 75 have very different mounting brackets. I hope you can get it to fit though. good luck.          -Evan

My 74 Swinger is pointed from the hood down to the bumper. And I dont like it  I am looking at 70-72 fiberglass fenders from AAR.

I changed the bumpers on my 74 duster to 1970, but needed to change the brackets as well.....Kim.......
