I am about to install the inner fenders in my dart, which never had any when I bought the car, and to come to find out that there is nothing to weld to on the firewall. Is this some thing you can buy and does any body have a pic of them?

I'm pretty sure that there are different kinds.The older ones like yours I believe are metal I'm not sure if they weld in or bolt in .But the newer ones like mine are plastic and bolt in. Sorry that's all I know.

i have a 72 duster and my firewall has a 1 inch or so piece of steel the sticks out from it for the entire vertical length of the inner fender and then the inners were spot welded to it
