probably could have sold it if they hadn't changed so much.  probably wasn't an original car anyway.  63's didn't have hemi 4 speeds, dana's, .509 hyd cams, etc.  Why say its so rare? 1 of 16?  They built a lot more than 16 1963 maxwedge's.

Yes they actually built 1,196 Max Wedge Plymouth's in 63.  He must have meant in a breakdown of maybe the high comp version with the 3-speed or something.  As the 63 Max Wedge's did not come with 4-speeds just 3-speeds and the 727.   And of course no Dana but who cares it is a very nice done car.  I mean I am trying to give mine the Max Wedge look and it is an original 383 car but to me it's the closest to a real Max Wedge I will ever own.   4 speed    Ron
