340 Rally guages

OK huge question guys.

I have seen 2 diffrent styles of the rally guages for the A body's 1 cluster will just drop into place into the opening for the std a body cluster

the other style of rally cluster i have seen, also has attached to it the radio and ac controls.


now my question is...does that radio and ac controls panel come off from the rest of the cluster?

Reason i ask i may have the chance to get a cluster that has the ac controls and the radio bezel on it, but will it still fit just like that into my dash?

They are all the same (fit-wise - there are some differences between years dating back to the 1967 Barracudas) and none will fit into a standard dash. Your dash could be cut to fit, but nobody I know of has a template or has tried it.

hmmm,  i would really liek to get these rally guages but like i said they have teh ac controls and radio bezel attached to them, i only want the cluster

The cluster won't look right if the radio/heater/AC controls are cut off and you try to install what's left next to the standard center bezel. The parts are out there to do the conversion right, but it can get quite expensive.

Looks like i will just wait for my time to get the guages then.
