So they are selling front and rear sway bars for $99 ea, anyone have any experience on their products? Seems like a fair price.
Also do I want the 3/4" or 7/8" rear bar?
66dart gt, nothin sexy or crazy setup... just wanna keep the body roll in check
Thanks!

I have the addco front and rear swaybars from just suspension, cant beat 99$. I put some zerg fittings on the bushings, no big deal. I also welded ''L'' brackets on the k member to help support the sway bar bushings (near the strut rod holes). The stock bar is only holding by 2 brackets bolted to the k member with 3/8 bolts.

that must be the differance bettween frimfeels and addcos.. firm feels mount on the top like the TA cars did .. i think addco bars a chromoly and firm feels are mild steel ...my 75 dart sport im probly gonna go with addco and save some bucks.

Just ordered my front bar for the 64 2 days ago.... $99 bucks plus shipping. 1 1/8 bar. I have 6 leaf HD springs out back, so I'll skip the rear bar for now. I'll see how it rides first. Im gonna take a lot of pix of the install, I'll post them on the early A forum.

It's 1978 all over again!!

Looks like you had that table made for a sway bar!
$99 complete, that's a good deal. I was thinking about going with their street/strip kit when I rebuild my front end in a few months. Finally going to get rid of the 9" drum brakes on front!!

I installed a ADDCO front Sway Bar on our daily driver '68 / 383 with .920 torsion bars a few weeks ago..
The Sway Bar made a considerable difference in handling.

Those are the same torsion bars that I am running. Noticed a big difference with those and new shocks alone. Then added welded in sub frame connectors. Again, big difference. Tightened up steering box, wow!!
I don't know how the previous owner kept this thing out of the ditch!!

Here is the problem with the early A brackets...they want to set on an angle, when they are best straight. I'm going to try and fab some brackets that will take the turn out of them. BTW....its much easier on the bench!

I want to confirm that these kits work on cars not originally equipped with bars - is that right? Couldn't get an answer from JS.

Yes, they work on cars that originally had no bars from factory.
Have the Addco 1 1/8th" Front & the 7/8th" Rear on a '71 Duster, w/ Edelbrock gas shocks.
Totally different car --- much nicer ride, and far safer to drive.

Great, thanks! And I presume it won't interfere with forward mounted brake calipers? How is the rear bar mounted?

I bought the shock plates that bolt to the leaf springs w/ u-bolts . I also bought their pinion snubber and I think I bought a tranny mount from Just Suspensions. Excellent quality and customer service. I have recieved 2 follow-up calls from them wanting to know if I'm satisfied with their product and if I have any suggestions as to improvements or new products "we" need they could start supplying. Top notch product and service!!!!! [attachment deleted by admin]
