I would like to know too. We are looking into the torque thrust II. 16x9.5 in the rear and 16x7 in the front but our 8 3/4 axle is stock length " for a A body" and the springs are the original /6 ones. What is the difference in the super stock ones?

I have 275-60-15 mt drag radials on 15x8.5 centerlines with 4 5/8 backspace, but I have the 1 inch offset spring package. Have about 1/2" to spring. One thing to remember with any car, production tolerances might let a wheel/tire fit one duster but not another. A good tire store will have a fixture that will let you see how a particular package will fit in your car. I highly advise it, or if buyint used wheels and tires try them on before shelling out the cash.

I have a 30X9 radial slick( that actually measures 29.5) on a 73 duster and the only modification I had to do is center the axle in the wheel well. The wheels are 15X8 wels autodrag I think with 4.375 or 4.5 backspace. Craig

I had a M/T 29.5 X 11.5-15 with the right off set rim and a baseball bat! Take the air out of the tire or lower it to about 3lbs and roll the car with the bat on the tire!!!!!! It did rub a little on the springs when going around turns.

I have 235X60X15 on the rear of a 74 Duster with BFGs with 215X60X15s on the front, the car sits level at factory ride height measurements. The diameter of the tires are 24.5" front, 26.1" rear, the tires are fitted to 15X7" cop wheels.

Thats a pretty fet tire, Is it gonna sit lower in the rear? I would like ours to sit down on the tires. But I'll show her. Heres one of our car as it looked before the transplant. She got it for 2,000 about 11 years ago from the original owner.

my dad ran in his 72 duster a 31x13 which translates into roughly a 330/60/15- he had stock frame rails and bent over the lip, but he did have tubs, he was telling me, you cant get any more width than that unless its only 26 inches tall, then maybe a 13.50 but i suspect you should be able to fit a 28x12.5 no problem with at least 3/4 inch on each side in a minitub (just like Ryan's setup)

Yes it'll sit lower, since those pics were taken I dropped the rear suspension 2" and switched to HD leaf springs instead of Super Stocks which lowered it another 1-2" I'd snap some new pics but it's covered and up on wheel casters right now....Not to mention the car is just a shell in those pics with no motor, battery, fuel tank or interior at all....To make a long story short, the top of the tires is up in the wheelwell now Ryan
