 here's the info on my car for the ppl the want to know, i appologize for any misspelled words... 1972 Dodge Challenger Petty Blue/Super Blue B3 Originally a B5 color Small block 318 4brrl slap sitck automatic 373 Sure-grip or Posi rear..depending on how Anal u are (thanks Chris) there was a debat on whether i had a 727 or 904 tranny..i believe it's a 904 Custom Boyd Coddington wheels 17x8 in front 17x9 1/2 in rear tires 275/50 in rear One inch over stock springs (thanks Ken) Custom chambered Mufflers, w/side exhaust known to scare the ricers away. Any more questions....feel free to ask....in a friendly manor.  |

i was'nt implying that it is'nt cool not to have built or work on your car.Everyone has there own things to do in life.I just dig seeing pics of cool cars.and you do have a cool car there. btw anyone who has a prob. with you not being a wrench just tell them to try and raise two kids,it is alot harder and more time consuming than building a car  |

Don't get me wrong......trophy's don't mean shit. But don't get angry cuz u don't gots one |

And honestly, I can say the same things about the engines that are built; someone else built the motor - you don't deserve the trophy! I think that leaves about 10 of us on this site who can and do build their own cars from scratch. Everyone has thier opinions - built or bought, as long as you have an interest, doesn't matter..... |

Nice Chally Petty blue72, hey kidddo there ain't nothing wrong with buying a turn key ride. I've never been able to afford that but that's cool. I can build an engine, do suspensions ,brakes, exhaust, interrior work.........but I don't have the space, tools or "gift" for body and paint work. But that dosen't mean if we get any trophies we don't deserve them because we didn't "do it all". You do what you can do and pay for the rest, so what? Who gives a rip anyway, trophies are cool, but not as cool as cruiseing in a sweet Mopar like ya got there sugar. Please don't take me wrong, I'm and ole souther boy at heart and when I say sugar or honey to a lady it is not a come on it is just a "southern" thing, don't mean to offend ya. And why haven"t you posted any pic of your Chally on c-c.c? Don't recall seeing them. I'll be looking for you at Carlisle, got a cold one waiting on you and your hubby.  |

To jump in here, you say you bought the car from Texas Toy Box.com. You were displeased w/ their service?? I look on their website ALL the time drooling over the cars they have there! Stay away from them??? I think I recall seeing that car for sale.....

Just a personal rant: I agree with others, so don't take any offence to your self, but I always felt that you didn't win any tropies if you didn't build it, you basically bought those trophies. I have always been miffed by people that win Riddler awards because they wrote a $1M check to Chip Foose. He deserves the award, not the owner. These should be seperate classes for "bought" vs "built" cars at car shows.
