disk brakes with 14in wheels

 can i use my 14in magnum 500s on the front of my valiant with the volare spindels and calipers.

SO HAS ANY ONE USED F BODY SPINDELS AND ROTORS (11.75) FOR THERE A BODY. THE TECH ARTICLE GIVES REALLY GOOD INFO BUT DOESNT MENTION IF THEWRE IS A REQUIRED RIM SIZE.

I'm pretty sure you need 15 in. rims for those brakes or the original Aspen/Volare rims but I've never used the F body parts myself.

I have the '73 to '76 11" disks with 15" steel wheels and the clearance from caliper to wheel is about 5/8". I would say no to the 11.75 on 14" wheels.

  I'm sure the 11.75 setup will not work with standard of the day 14 in. rims.  I'm not up to speed on the F body stuff as far as what rim size they came with or if they had a special 14 in. rim that would clear the caliper when it was pushed out another .9 inch.

volares and aspens came with 14" rallys. my friend had the 14" magnums on his 1980 volare duster

Yes, the "small" brakes will take 14" rims. That's how they came from the factory.
