Steering box torque
« on: March 29, 2007, 12:55:44 PM »

I need some info please.  I put a manual steering box into my 74 Duster and have the coupler fit up to the steering column.  I would like to know the torque for the bolts that attach box to K-member.  I can't find it listed in service manuals that I've got.  I'm finishing engine bay details before my 408 engine is ready.
Thanks

Hey Herb
Thanks a lot for all the specs there.  I have been reading all the posts this winter and it has been a great help to get my Duster ready for some street and strip time this summer. Thanks again.  bbd sign

No problem.

I was worried about the size and being able to read it. I had to reduce it so far to get the file size down to meet the requirements.
