when i start the car the power steering just pulls the wheel far right,it really wants to go that way,it's harder to steer left than right.why is it pulling to the right?

Look on top of the gearbox & see if you can see any type of damage or if something that's been moved by where to p/s hoses are. That is where a something similar to a valve body like on a T/Flite is.See if it has been jockeyed around.Loosen it up & move it around & see if that helps. If not get a sevice manua & dissassemble & clean it.Good luck.

Sounds like the valve body is stuck. Try rapping on it with a hammer, you might get lucky and "unstick" it.

To adjust the steering box to center, the correct procedure is to slightly loosen the two screws on the top of the box and gently tap the piece with the hosw connected forward or rearward so the steering will stay straight ahead at idle. Slightly revving the engine without a pull to either side indicates the steering is centered. Tighten the bolts and drive safely.

i dont see 2 screws on the valve body, and the steering seems to go lock to lock evenly, but it is still pulling.if i remove the two bolts that hold the valve body on,is it an easy swap?is that all there is to it?i have an extra unit here. thanks

thats an easy fix.. loosen the two bolts where the steering valve body bolts to the steering box. once loose tap the up or down till you get what you want.. it will only move the slightest bit but should take care of the problem.
