Well; the new Mopar Muscle came out and has an article on wheelhouse repair. Just what I needed.....or did I? It seems that they just purchased a replacement wheelhouse from Year One for their Roadrunner project; but I have never seen a wheelhouse replacement for a 65' Dart. The guy I bought it from fixed it with blue tape and bondo, so my quarters need to be replaced too; so thats not going to be easy to make a template to get an idea of what i need to try and fabricate. What do I do?

purchase steel sheet metal tubs from a chassis business since you going to do the quarters also and you'll have plenty of room for the tire or slick of your choice.

Are the aftermarket tubs like a "kit" (So they can be trimmed to the shape of the fenderwell on the out side, and width to the frame rails on the in side) ?

Since, you going to mitub it anyway, I think you're better off just cutting them out and installing prefabbed wheel tubs. With a little trimming, you can get them to fit great. Plus you'll be able to run some nice meats. If you go to AutoweldChassis website, there are some pretty good tech articles on that stuff. Also, here's a pretty good article on how to install wheel tubs: http://www.cachassisworks.com/HowTo/HowTo-007_WEB.pdf

I don't think there are quarters for early a bodys, but wheel well patchs and lower quarter patch panels. Layson's has them. Hope this helps. ( www.laysons.com)
