B-Body Interchange Question
« on: April 09, 2007, 11:38:42 PM »

The Mopar Gods have continued to smile on us this year!  We have added a 69 Super Bee to the inventory over the weekend!  The car had been parked in 1985 and does have rust issues.  The good news is that the frame and toque boxes are good, the floor and trunk are another story but we know we can replace those with no huge problem.

The rust that I am concerned about is at the joint of the roof and rear quarter, yes, it's pretty bad to the point that we should replace the roof.  My question is what makes will interchange?  A Super Bee (of course) and a Coronet, how about a Belvedere and Road Runner?  The more options we have the better chance we have of finding a donor car.  Anyone have a parts car?

This Bee is an original 383 HP 4speed hard top with the ramcharger hood option, side quarter scoops, buckets, gauges, TTTach, AM 8-Track.  It's a miracle but it's all still there! So there is no question we have to bring it back to glory!

Thanks for the info.  Last night I bought a good roof from a 68 coronet also got the rear cowl, buckets with the buddy seat option.  All of this was under my nose about 5 miles from my house and I never knew it.   hammer

I spent too much time looking for cars and parts far and wide, got to start checking out my own hood!
