i just got done installing a 8" mecury comet in my 1964 valiant wagon. mine was a direct bolt in as far as the spring perch side to side width. the only thing i dont like is the perch is wider than the spring and it causes the ubolts to fit at an angle. the rubber brake line is also the same as is the emergency brake cables. the only thing i have left to do is the drive line.
