where can a get some sort of pistol grip shifter handle for my dart to fit 3/8-24 threads

There is a company the claims universal fit called Power Shifter, www.powershifter1.com

There is also Gunslinger that has many pistol grip applications, www.gunslinger727.com

Not sure if you will find what you are looking for but it's a start.
