Had kinda of a stressful time in the garage today, had a hard time getting my hood lined up. One a silly welding magnet fell and landed on one of my tranny coolers (it may be savable). Decided to take the 70 out for a quick spin, I haven't driven it since I recurved the distributor. Wow, I have never owned anything this fast before. I can only imagine what it would be like with some good flowing heads and a bigger carb. (Pay no attention to the fact it needs to be washed).

It really is amazing the power that can be developed when the piston and spark meet at the "right" time!! I like the hood in mat black also!! Nice!

Thanks guys. Did you get the cooling problem solved? Lewis
Yeah, it was the timing, I bumped the base up from 6 degrees to 18 and now it doesn't get above 195, even with me beating on it.

Ron AAR quality fibrerglass, it was $631 total after I picked it up at the terminal. It's the bolt on one, way lighter then the original steel hood, lot more clearance for taller intakes and air cleaners too.

NICE!My buddy wants to order a set of Torque-Thrusts when he gets back in the country.Whats in it? Warmed over 360. Runs pretty good so far. Hopefully I'll get some track numbers within the next month or so.
